ANWAR BOUGROUG

Anwar Bougroug is the founder and creative director of his eponymous Scandinavian-Moroccan genderless label bougroug. Launched in 2018, the brand is crafted in Morocco, the founders country of origin, where he also finds his inspiration for the collections. Bougroug gained a cult following rapidly, representing Moroccan heritage from a completely new perspective. He is also a fashion Design consultant at H&M in Sweden.

Anwar has had a decade long career in the industry, consulting for brands across fashion design and styling. He is becoming a recognized face in the fashion industry from the brand values of bougroug, but also for his voice and his creative sense of style.

His work has been featured in i-D magazine, Nataal and GQ to name a few. He has also been writing for various publications such as Vogue Arabia and Vogue Arabia Man. AMoung REcent accomplishments Forbes Africa listed Anwar as one of most influential entrepreneurs in Africa on their 30-under-30 list for 2020.”
