Camay is a journalist, fashion researcher, and fashion psychologist. Writing about fashion, beauty, tech, and Asian / Asian American culture is her bread and butter.
Whether it’s journalism, research, or social media content making, she loves to educate and influence people through fun and informative storytelling. She has been a contributing writer for publications in London, Los Angeles, and Manila. She was a columnist at Screen Shot, written for Dazed, Character Media, Preview.ph, and Reflekt Mag to name a few. Since graduating with her master’s degree in fashion psychology, Camay has been interviewed by Vice and Deutsche Welle Media for her expertise in fashion psychology and has done talks about fashion history and race for brands.
California raised and London educated she uses her scientific research skills, storytelling prowess, and American grit to produce thought-provoking and useful content in the name of aesthetics.
