BIO
Judith Watt Is a fashion historian, writer and Journalist currently leading on the BA Fashion Journalism pathway at Central Saint Martins in London, having graduated with a MA in the History of Dress from the Courtauld Institute of Art. She is the author of Alexander McQueen: Fashion Visionary and Vogue On: Elsa Schiaparelli, published in autumn 2012 by Goodman Books and Quadrille respectively. Her other books include Ossie Clark, 1965-1974 (V&A Publications 2003), The Penguin Book of Twentieth-Century Fashion Writing (Penguin, 1999) and Dogs in Vogue (Little, Brown 2009).
She is a contributor to Vogue and Acne Paper, and comments on fashion and its history for radio and television. In 2012 she contributed a chapter on fashion and ‘glam’ for Tate Liverpool’s Glam: The Performance of Style exhibition. She is an acclaimed journalist, writer, educator and commentator.
