FASHION ACTIVISM

Fashion has always been used as an object of activism and stood for codes that go far beyond aesthetics. In fact Fashion and Activism are intertwined and our panellist will be sharing their insight on the uncomfortable truths of modern activism in fashion. Whether you have been a conscious consumer for years or you are a beginner the Panel looks at the different approaches to fashion activism, from Michelle Obama’s ‘V.O.T.E’ necklace to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s ‘Tax the Rich’ dress to cancel culture, accountability, and performativity.
